Celtic Transfer Rumours/Arsenal Transfer Rumours: Jack Wilshere a Target of Mowbray

Celtic boss Tony Mowbray is keen to bring in Arsenal star-in-waiting Jack Wilshere. The 17-year-old, if you remember, dazzled in 2008-09 League Cup run for Arsenal. He even made his Premiership debut in the '08-09 campaign.

Mowbray who was in charge at West Bromwich Albion last season has worked on loan deals in the past with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and hopes Wegner will allow Wilshere to go north for a six-month spell.

Mowbray believes that Wilshere will assist Celtic in the club's run at the 2009-10 SPL title.
