TSG Hoffenheim: Tagoe Signs From Al Ettifaq

>> Wednesday, June 10, 2009

TSG Hoffenheim have acquired Ghanaian international striker Prince Tagoe from Saudi Arabian club Al Ettifaq on a free transfer, enrolling with the budding African delegation of his national team-mate Isaac Vorsah, Senegal's Demba Ma and Nigeria's Chinedu Obasi Ogbuke.

Hoffenheim's director of Sport Jan Schindelmeiser has described Prince Tagoe as "technically strong, two-footed and has proven his goalscoring instinct both for his club and national team."

"There have been several African players who have gone to Hoffenheim and flourished and of all the clubs they were the best,” Tagoe said on his transfer to Germany.

“I wanted to go to a club where I can play regularly and the coaches at Hoffeinheim have assured me that they will give me the chance to prove my worth. After three years in Saudi Arabia, I think it is now.”
